Send My Friend to School Event at Houses of Parliament

Michael Lister (Year 10) and Nana Afriyie (Year 9) become two of only 24 students chosen nationally to be campaign champions for Send My Friend to School, a UK charity working with partners in over 80 countries to change access to quality education globally.
Last night Michael and Nana attended a reception at the Houses of Parliament to speak about the role of young people in global advocacy and to promote the work of Send My Friend to School. They met with Members of Parliament and advocates from other UK charities. Our own Dartford MP Gareth Johnson spoke of how proud he was to see Dartford represented on behalf of such an important global issue.
