As you are no doubt aware, the Prime Minister has confirmed that schools will not return to full face-to-face education after the February half-term and that the current attendance restrictions will remain in place until 8 March at the earliest.
Please note that:
- Children of critical workers and vulnerable children and young people will still be able to attend the academy during term time.
- All other pupils will continue to receive high quality remote education at home.
- As per the academy calendar Friday 12 February is an INSET Day and there will not be any remote education set for this day.
- During half-term, the academy will be closed to students, including the critical worker and vulnerable children provision which will resume on Monday 22 February. We are awaiting news from Kent County Council in relation to FSM food provision and will update in due course.
We hope that the regular bulletins you are receiving are informative and demonstrate some of the excellent work our students are producing and would like to thank you for your vital contribution at this very challenging time.
We would like to thank the many parents that have sent messages of appreciation to the academy in recognition of the remote educational and pastoral support they have received. It is gratifying to be able to pass these messages onto the staff.
The start of Module 4 is Monday 22 February.
Thank you for your ongoing support. Stay safe.
