Our students have done extremely well and have achieved our best results since 2013. 60% A*-C (4-9) in English and maths and strong performances in other subjects with many students achieving the top 7/8/9 A*/A grades despite the exams being much harder. The students worked really hard and coped well with the extra pressure that has been placed upon them. The results day in the Lecture Theatre was an absolute joy with so many students and families delighted when opening their envelopes.
The most important thing is the impact this has on the life chances of our students with high numbers opting to stay on in Post 16 and others progressing to college and apprenticeships. None of this would be possible without the dedication and commitment of our brilliant staff.
