Wilmington Academy had an outstanding time celebrating World Book Day today. We had Kate O’Hearn visit and run workshops with Y7/8/9 and P16 students and had challenges running throughout the day as part of our annual World Book Week celebration.
To say there was an incredible buzz throughout the school would be an understatement. Students are thoroughly enjoying the theme this year which is The Hunger Games and staff have been just as invested in competing, with many dressing up today to earn bonus points for their tutor groups and waiting for me to send out the updated leaderboard after school each day. It has been a really memorable week!
