Year 11 Parents Information Evening – Wednesday 18 September 2024, 6:00 – 7:00 pm.
It is my pleasure to invite you and your son/daughter to attend a crucial Year 11 Parents Information Evening on Wednesday 18 September at 6:00 pm in the Lecture Theatre.
The purpose of the evening is to provide you with in-depth information regarding your child’s GCSE/Level 2 courses. Presentations will be facilitated by the Directors of Learning for English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, Modern Foreign Languages and Vocational (Options) Courses.
The presentations will outline the programmes of study for examination for Summer 2025 and explain how we can work in partnership to support your son’s/daughter’s studies.
The evening will cover the following information:
- Course specification/content
- Key dates
- Key members of staff and their contact information
- Opportunities for support
- Key learning resources
- What parents/carers can do to support their children
There will also be members of the teaching staff available who will be able to answer any questions or queries that you may have.
