As you are aware, Covid–19 has had an impact on many aspects of education this academic year, no more so than on the process of awarding student grades. Senior leaders acknowledge that this has been a concerning time with much media attention, confusion and changes in the grading process.
I therefore want to assure you that at the time of writing this letter, there will be no changes to Year 13 grades apart from a minority of individual circumstances and those concerned have already been contacted by the Post 16 Team.
Furthermore, if you feel the need to to discuss your results or have any concerns that you need support with, please contact the academy on Thursday 20 August between 9 – 12pm when a member of the Post 16 team will be available.
