Quality of Education at Wilmington Academy

Dear Parents and Carers

Quality of Education at Wilmington Academy

I am writing to inform you of the positive outcomes from our recent quality of education and standards review conducted by The Leigh Academies Trust. It brings me great pride to share that the senior leaders have commended our academy for its very high standards. Their feedback highlighted that the quality of education we provide is exemplary, with the standards of learning being particularly impressive.

The leadership and pastoral care within our academy were prominently acknowledged during the review. It is clear that our dedicated staff are committed to ensuring that every student is very well catered for, fostering an environment conducive to both academic and personal growth. I consider it a privilege to work alongside such exceptional practitioners who are passionate about the success and wellbeing of our students.

I would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to all students in Year 11 and Year 13 for their hard work and dedication. We wish them the very best for their upcoming outcomes and look forward to celebrating their achievements in August when we receive student results.

Moreover, I would like to remind you that Year 10 students are currently focusing on their mock examinations, while students in Years 7 to 9 are preparing for their end-of-year assessments. I encourage you to support your children during this critical period, ensuring they approach their studies with diligence and commitment.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education. Together, we can strive to maintain our high standards that assure that students are able to confidently embark on their next steps.

Yours faithfully,

Mr M Gore | Principal
