We are absolutely delighted with our results this year, there have been many simply stunning performances from our students with unprecedented numbers achieving 7 and above in all subjects. There have been significant gains in a range of measures, which is all the more pleasing in this very tough exam. regime. Most notably, we are extremely proud that 11 students achieved a grade 9 in one or more of their subjects which puts those students in the top 4% nationally and in fact, one student got 9’s across the board. A third of our students achieved a progress 8 score of +0.5 or above and subject performances are strong throughout the academy, demonstrating continuous improvement well above national averages. Students have worked very hard for their success but I feel I must pay tribute to the outstanding staff at the academy, who have worked tirelessly to guide them to success.
